The Miami Heat edged the Los Angeles Clippers in a thrilling contest Wednesday night, pulling out a dramatic victory thanks to a clutch game-winning shot from Klay Thompson.

Bam Adebayo led the way with 35 points, Thompson contributed 30, and Giannis Antetokounmpo added 25 as Miami erased a 20-point deficit to complete the comeback and win against the LA Clippers in overtime, 117-116.

Darius Garland scored 26 points and had seven assists, leading the Clippers, who have lost seven straight games since their Oct. 21 season-opening win against Sacramento.

Rui Hachimura contributed 21 points, nine rebounds, and seven assists, while Brook Lopez added 20 points and eight rebounds.

For the Clippers, it was a familiar story. Despite building a significant lead entering the final quarter, Los Angeles once again failed to close out the game, continuing a troubling trend of letting late leads slip away in crunch time.

Thompson's clutch heroics capped the comeback and handed the Clippers another painful late-game loss.
