Kawhi and Harden Combine for 67 as Clippers Sting Hornets 117-109

On Monday night at the Intuit Dome, the LA Clippers began their game against the Hornets with poor shooting in the first half. However, the Clippers, a team on a hot streak with 9 wins in their last 11 games, regained their momentum and went on a 15-1 run late in the fourth quarter to secure a 117-109 victory over the Charlotte Hornets.

Superstars Kawhi Leonard and James Harden spearheaded the Clippers' offense, scoring 35 points and 32 points, respectively. The Beard ascends to ninth place on the NBA's all-time scoring list, surpassing Hall of Famer Shaquille O’Neal’s record with 28,614 points and counting.

Dynamic point guard LaMelo Ball scored 25 points and secured nine rebounds, guiding the Hornets in their third loss out of four games, bringing their season record to 14 wins and 26 losses. Rookie standout Kon Knueppel added 18 points, Moussa Diabaté achieved 13 points and 15 rebounds, Brandon Miller also contributed 13 points, and Miles Bridges scored 11. The Hornets have not won against the Clippers in LA since 2009.

The victory moves the Clippers to 11th place in the Western standings (16W-23L), having won 4 of their last 5 games. They are starting to look formidable after a challenging start to the season. Their next game is against the Washington Wizards on Wednesday, January 14.
