Meta's 'Hypernova' smart glasses will cost a lot less than we thought, new report claims
Meta’s upcoming Hypernova smart glasses, featuring a built-in display and gesture controls, could debut at a significantly lower price than expected, starting at $800 instead of over $1,000. The price cut reflects Meta’s strategy to boost adoption by accepting lower margins. The glasses are slated for a September launch.
Vivo Vision Is 40% Lighter Than Apple Vision Pro & "Could" Be 1/3 The Price
Vivo has unveiled key specs of its Vision mixed reality headset, now demoing in China. Weighing just 398g and powered by Snapdragon XR2+ Gen 2, it mimics Apple Vision Pro in design and control but could launch at around $1,400, roughly one-third the price. A consumer release is expected in 2026.
