2026 Concacaf Women’s U-17 Qualifiers Final Round Set to Kick Off Tuesday
Matches to be played in Costa Rica from March 17–22
12 national teams to compete across three groups
Four FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup Morocco 2026 berths are available
Miami, FL (Monday, March 16, 2026) – The 2026 Concacaf Women’s U‑17 Qualifiers Final Round is set to kick off tomorrow, Tuesday, March 17. The tournament marks the second and final stage of the Confederation’s qualifying competition for the FIFA U‑17 Women’s World Cup and will feature 12 national teams from across the region.
Competition Format
The Final Round will be played in a group format, featuring 12 teams divided into three groups of four; each side will face the other three teams in its group once over the course of the competition.
Following the completion of the tournament, the three Final Round group winners and the best second‑place finisher (four teams in total) will secure qualification to the FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup as Concacaf’s representatives.
Qualification Pathway
The Final Round represents the decisive stage of Concacaf’s qualification pathway to the FIFA U‑17 Women’s World Cup, following Round One earlier this year. Round One featured 28 teams split into six groups, with the six group winners and two best second-place finishers qualifying for the Final Round.

Participating Teams
The Confederation’s four highest-ranked Women’s U-17 teams – Canada, Mexico, Puerto Rico, and the United States – were pre-seeded into the Final Round, while the remaining eight teams – Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, El Salvador, Haiti, Jamaica, and Panama (group winners), and Bermuda and Nicaragua (best second-place finishers) – qualified through Round One of the tournament earlier this year.
The 12 national teams competing in the Final Round were divided into three groups during the official draw on February 18, are the following groups:
Group A: Canada, El Salvador, Dominican Republic, Nicaragua
Group B: United States, Puerto Rico, Haiti, Bermuda
Group C: Mexico, Costa Rica, Panama, Jamaica

Host Venue
All Final Round matches will be played at the Costa Rican Football Federation headquarters in San Rafael, Alajuela, Costa Rica.
Schedule
