A youthful and inexperienced USWNT, averaging 9 caps per player, played an international friendly against Paraguay last Saturday and dominated the match from start to finish. The women in stars and stripes demonstrated short, precise passing, resulting in numerous shot attempts, but it took some time to finally break through a stubborn Paraguayan defense.
Once they succeeded, the goals flowed freely. Final score USWNT 6, Paraguay 0.
Here are the highlights of the goals from that impressive performance by the young USWNT team:
Debutant Reilyn Turner - 45'+3'
Ally Sentnor - 47', 57
Trinity Rodman - 56
Emma Sears - 72'
