Warm California Welcome for NBA point GOD Chris Paul

LOS ANGELES—Its been six long years since NBA superstar Chris Paul left Los Angeles to play for three different teams. But whatever jersey color he seems to be wearing, or a different city he represents, Angelenos are always ready give the 6 foot guard all the love he can handle.

It became clear last Monday night, a weekday, that the multiple NBA all star and two time Olympic gold medalist is revered here in the city of angels as throngs of fans waited in line to meet the star up close and personal.

At a swanky mall in LA, the “point god” was at the Barnes and Noble to sign copies of his book: “ Sixty-One: Life Lessons from Papa, On and Off the Court”

The book tells the role of his grandfather in molding him into the man and father he is today and what it means to be a positive light to your community and beyond.

In his decorated basketball career, Chris Paul is yet to become an NBA Champion. But reading his memoir will tell you that even without a ring, he is a champion in life.

Asked on when he’ll be visiting the Philippines again, Chris chuckled: “I don’t know yet but I love it there man and I’ll be visiting it again. For sure!”

Welcome back to California CP3!
