PASADENA, CA --- Rain rang in the new year at the 137th Tournament of Roses in Pasadena, California, but that didn’t stop the floral procession. It is the first time in 20 years that wet weather has occurred on the same day as the Rose Parade, with attendees donning ponchos and umbrellas. The downpour, separated by intermittent showers throughout the day, was part of a larger holiday storm in the Los Angeles Basin, with Pasadena receiving over 10 inches of rain in a two-week
